Manifesting - Specificity

By now you will be starting to get your head around the unseen forces, creative sources and energies that are available for you to work with in your own manifesting practice.

And it’s the working bit we will look at now, as we look to apply the energetic principles, shared via a set of actions, in order to manifest. It’ll come as little surprise, given the heading of this section, our first stop is specifics.

Background...

If you’ve completed our Soul Goals module then you will have already taken some time to arrive at a vision for your life and what that might entail.

This is wholly yours and programmed uniquely within you, as a driving force and source of inspiration.

That said, if not broken down, like they are in our club, Soul Goals can feel a bit like an abstract dream that belongs to tomorrow. This often leads us to feel a bit overwhelmed by the journey to achieve them. So, it’s in breaking down our Soul Goal into next steps and phases that we can unlock the milestones that bring it about.

Manifesting ANYTHING is exactly the same - it works best when we get as clear as we can about what we want to manifest and then break the manifestation into steps. In doing so, along the way, we acclimatise to a higher personal frequency and can call in and hold much more.

We also find ways to arrive at a reliable, repeatable manifesting practice for ourselves.

The list...

I’ve tried to come up with a snazzy title to call the list, but to be honest, its beauty and power are in its simplicity. Manifesting best practice pretty much always includes your written down list.

When manifesting, one of the first things to do is to write down, in as much detail as feels right for you, what it is we are looking to bring about (to manifest).

We need to do this in the clearest way we can fathom at this moment. Not because we’ll be punished or sent to the back of the queue if we forget something, but because the more clarity you have, the clearer the lines of communication with the universe and the more emotion you’ll charge the manifestation with. This, in turn, keeps your personal vibration on the higher end and the sooner the manifestation will come about.

The same goes if you identify as a non-specific manifestor - you can still manifest, even if you can’t fill a page of detail about what the manifestation looks, feels or sounds like.

Ultimately, you want to capture in your list your understanding of the true essence of what you want. So it’s not the fact your future partner wears Redwings Boots that is significant, it’s that they have a sense of personal style which nods to their confidence, which is the point you’re trying to attract.

Before I lead you onto the list, there are a handful of things to bear in mind so you can keep your energy right and you don’t get grabby or entitled (it can, and does, happen to the best of us so no judgement!).

Timing…

It’s important to note that the Universe does not have the option to add on ‘next day delivery’ like your favourite online shop! So even if you feel you’d been crystal clear and verbose with your list, each of us, must hand over the timing to the Universe.

You won’t be singled out for fast or slow delivery of your manifestation - the timing will always be perfect even if that’s at odds with your opinion. The timing of a manifestation depends on things like:

  • You taking ‘aligned action’ once you’ve put your manifestation ‘out there’ (you must do your bit and meet the universe halfway! E.g if your manifestation relates to buying a new house, start booking in viewings)

  • Your overall dominant vibration in your individual energy

  • You following signs, cues and nudges to increase your capacity for the manifestation

  • ‘Behaving in the direction of travel’ - i.e. matching your words, actions and decisions with what the manifestation requires (aka not forking off your energy - as described in the Energy section)

Product description changes…

Even if your written down manifestation list is long and exhaustive, what you’re not doing is writing the universe an instruction list to follow like you’re the boss writing a list of orders. You’re not and never will be.

So again, surrender the timing and do your bit to keep your focus on creating the space for the manifestation and behaving in the direction of travel.

You might write down a box with a green bow but if your nearly perfect box comes with a red one, then go with it!

Allow yourself to want what you want...

This is YOUR manifestation journey, so let yourself be as low key or audacious as you wish based on what authentically means the most to you. Remember, it’s uniquely programed in you and bestwoed to you.

If that’s fresh food weekly, fantastic. If it’s a Rolex, also fantastic. You do not need to justify or explain anything on your list - if you want it, you want it. You don’t have to convince or persuade anyone of anything. This is between you and the universe and you have a blank sheet of paper - LITERALLY - so use this opportunity to be open and honest with yourself. If you catch yourself thinking “oh that’s too much”, or “I could never ask for that” then especially write those down - do not hold back.

Let yourself receive…

And on that note… you’re not asking a teacher, or a busy friend, or a stressed stranger for help here. You’re asking the universe. THE source of all possibility and creation. There is no gatekeeper, there is no board of directors. As Gabby Bernstein has said before, the answer is ‘yes or something better’ from the Universe, never ‘no’.

When I first started manifesting I wanted to:

  • Be able to save up £1000 for a trip to NYC within a year

  • To have my workload reduced so I could get my weekends back and work on my hobby

  • To be able to go to Pizza Express once a month with my husband and order whatever I wanted

This felt so, so abundant to me and frankly, having been through what I’ve been through, it still does. But things have definitely moved on!

What you need...

Optional: I make a point of getting into the manifesting mood but you really don’t need to. I am sure some people will think this is really OOT but the way I see it, I’m inviting the most special guest into my space, so I want to show reverence.

I’ll light a few candles, put on some Solfeggio Rhythms and clean and clear the space I’ll sit in with my journal to make my list. I’ll also pull a tarot or oracle card before I begin asking the question “What guidance is available to me to help me with this manifestation?”

Required:

Write by hand: Writing down your list rather than having it on your phone or just in your head is crucial to the law of attraction so if ever there was a time to treat yourself to a fancy journal then the time is now. That said, a clean sheet of paper will do the job - this is a list, not a thesis!

Include why you want the manifestation: This will help you connect with the energy of the things you’re calling in even more and infuse it with that all-important manifestation. So rather than, “I have moved to a new flat in London” it’s “I have moved to a new flat in London which has given me access to a whole new social scene and hobbies just around the corner”. I’ve only recently started this myself in the last 6 months or so.

Keep it realistic that it can be achieved within the year: Because it’s a process you’re embarking on, not one random call to the universe, this list sets the tone for what other manifestations will come. Your next list will take care of your next phase - one builds on the next. Practically speaking it’s also a better and more efficient use of your energy.

For example, let’s say one year from now you want to manifest making £20k a month in your business but you still work full time at your permanent role that’s not likely to happen as, just like winning the lottery, a zillion things have to line up to bring that about. It’s not impossible because miracles are commonplace, but your beliefs will unlikely match up.

BUT, what about in a year’s time if you had dropped down to two days a week in your current work role, had finished your qualification, saved up 6 months for your living fund and were about to go full time in your business … that is a legitimate and truly abundant position to be in that will provide enormous growth and progress but not lead to energetic whiplash. It leaves the space for miracles and you can also conceive it could happen.

Ok over to you - write down your manifestation list!

When you have written your list…

Read it out loud.

With the list written down, read it aloud, the spell is cast, so the next bit is up to you. Some people rip up or burn their list as an act of surrender and trust. Some people put in an envelope and then keep it under their mattress. I just leave mine in my journal. I rarely/never go back to it because it’s handed over at that point.

Similar to when I order a pizza I don’t keep looking at the online receipt to check I added mushrooms on my 12 inch feast! I don’t need reminding - I’ve put it out there.

Visualize it being a done deal.

Almost like watching mini-movie trailers, run through the achievement of your manifestations as already created as often as you like. And these can include the tingly sublime moments as well as the mundane. Something I think is missed out from Law of Attraction teaching is the bit between the thunderbolts! To help the manifestation through visualising it as done, we need to glorify and hype what will become normal when the manifestation has come through.

For example when I wanted to manifest more press for my business, I didn’t just visualise and feel the big tingles at seeing my name in Elle magazine… I also visualised receiving the first email from the journalist and having to rush writing up my comments in my pyjamas… then came the next bit… regular press being a thing for me to do, just like doing my tax return or answering emails. It’s expected and commonplace in my weekly life now. I sense this makes all the difference!

Advanced visualisation...

I do this sitting on the bus, while I’m on hold with the bank and before I go to sleep. If you struggle to visualise, this teaching by Neville Goddard may help you engage it by working with your imagination.

Ask for a sign and be open...

You don’t necessarily need to do this bit, but I think it’s a way of telling the universe “I am open and listening!”. This is a great article on how to choose your sign https://www.wellandgood.com/signs-from-the-universe/, funnily enough I chose an owl as a sign for my manifestation that came through in springtime!)

OK what next? We’ll be using a well worn principle of our Comparison Free Club - creating the conditions for what we want to fall in.
