7. Creating Conditions
Curate and cultivate the things that will speed up and sustain the progress that you want to make in your life.
This is a self-confidence step.
This picks up where we left PPP’s - now you’ve defined your pillars it’s time to look at how to live them
This module is about creating space in your life for what you want to fall in. It’s not about forcing or pushing. It’s about setting up your life to ensure the conditions are perfect for the comparison free life you want to live!
We’ll be taking an audit to help create the conditions for what you want to fall in, focusing on these two key areas:
Inside life; yourself and your personal environment
Wider network: your circles and relationships
Inside life
Starting with our inside life in mind, pull out your list of PPPs and let’s take an audit as to whether your life is set up to make these qualities happen, effortlessly and easily.
Some examples to get us started:
PPP - Peace
Current audit - Notifications popping up with every ‘like’, comment and follow, packed diary, no space for ‘you-time’
Creating conditions for peace - Mute some notifications, plan your ‘you-time’ ahead and let your social schedule fill in around that
PPP - Respect at work
Current audit - Turning up to work late with wet hair, drawing negative attention, unprepared and finishing work last minute
Creating conditions for respect at work - Organising your time so that you arrive on time, prepared, setting alarms, or having accountability to get your ducks all in a row
PPP - Presence
Current audit - Feeling distracted and scattered, going on your phone first thing in the morning and last thing at night, looking at a screen all day
Creating conditions for balance - Having a morning and evening routine to bookend your day with mindfulness, setting downtime on your phone to limit screentime
PPP - Creativity
Current audit - There’s no time for creativity, too much work, too many commitments
Creating conditions for balance - Deciding on one area of creativity to explore, putting it in the diary (before it fills up), involving friends and family, making sure you have the paint brushes, instruments etc easy to access
PPP - Health
Current audit - Very little structure, no meal planning, never finding time for movement/stretching
Creating conditions for health - Creating a plan with an expert, having your running shoes at the door, placing your exercise gear at the end of your bed for a morning walk, planning your weekly shop
Exercise - collecting your audit and creating YOUR conditions for success:
This module's exercise is to log your audit and create YOUR conditions for success:
We’re going to put your PPP’s and Soul Goals under the microscope and create some very clear conditions that set you up for your version of success.
Using the guide above, work with your PPP's one by one; taking an audit of your current behaviours, then creating some new conditions that help you live your PPP.
Be sure to take some time every evening to see which action steps you can take to ensure these conditions are cultivated the next day...and beyond! Remember, we are in this for the long haul!

2. Your Inner Circle
Borrowing the quote from psychologist Jim Rohn “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with”…
Is this good news for you?
Do your 5 people lift you up, or bring you down?
This step calls us to be more intentional with the people we surround ourselves with, to help us create the environment that supports our growth.
This does not mean you have to burn and destroy your friendships, but we will treat this with an eye of discernment.
Inner circle exercise:
We’re going to visit our imagination in this exercise.
Imagine yourself in a beautiful room, a round table perfectly placed in the centre. Around it are 6 ornate chairs, one for you and one each for your dream top 5.
Taking a moment to consider your soul goals...
Who will you choose to be in your support circle, taking up a valuable seat at your table?
In my experience the people you surround yourself with, in order to live wholly and authentically are:
The Visionary -
Those that see the world differently and believe in big, bold goals and what’s possible. The ones that help you see beyond the day to day.
The P.I.P -
The ones that are the Proof It’s Possible. These have done, achieved or succeeded at exactly what you want to and continue to motivate you with that evidence.
The Challenger -
Those that give you solicited feedback that helps you be the best you can. The one that helps you see your blind spots and acknowledge your privilege.
The Mentor -
Those that have great advice to share from a life well lived. Their experience speaks for itself and they can offer not only logical guidance but emotional support.
The Surprise -
It could be a special person you meet on social media or that comes into your life out of the blue. You may not know them yet 🤗
Take some time to note down YOUR dream top 5 and set an intention to draw these people into your circle.
WORKSHEET
You can use this worksheet to map your dream top 5, or use it as a template to sketch it out on paper:.Type your main focus in the central circle and ponder the support circle you'd like around you while moving towards this focus, then enter names (or identities, like 'the visionary') into the circles, along with any notes you have on each person in the rectangles.
