The Pillars -
Core, Heart & Head
Clearly understand the three remedies of living comparison free beyond the surface level, to quickly achieve shifts
Let’s begin by laying our foundations by understanding the three pillars of our work together; Core, Head and Heart.
We all have unique comparison identities, and yet, these are three common elements that link people who experience comparison. We relate to these within our membership as a trio of cornerstone principles:
Self-worth - Core.
This relates to how enough, whole, or deserving we feel. Our core is influenced by the beliefs we hold about ourselves and the world we live in. When our self-worth, or core, is strong and robust we have a clear idea of our autonomy and agency in our lives. It influences what we think we deserve, how we talk to ourselves and where we think we belong.
Having self-worth is possibly the ultimate cure for any kind of comparison and grounds us in being ‘less them’ and ‘more you’ - exactly what we are working towards here in this club! Looking into how we value ourselves, then building on the value helps us to activate an attitude where we can follow the path that feels right for us, without getting in our own way.
With this understanding and applying the tools, we can reach a level of gentle appreciation of ourselves, being our own cheerleaders and being in our own corner. We also gain an awareness around where our self-talk may not serve where we are heading and learn to gently re-route us back to our path.
This one is a biggy, as it shapes every facet of our life, be that relationships, work, creativity, or your weight on how many social media followers you have - I mean every facet!
2. Self-confidence - Heart.
Self-confidence comes when we have a deep knowing of self and allows us to trust in our abilities, potential and personal judgement. It’s the key to harnessing and expanding our inner power, to pursue a life that we truly want. When we have a healthy level of self-confidence we have nothing to prove. We have inner validation, so external validation and approval are not needed.
Our level of confidence includes our level of courage, what kind of action taker you are, how proactive you are and how much you trust yourself and your decisions (how often do you ask for feedback?). It also encompasses how ready you feel for your next step.
Boosting our self-confidence is just as important as boosting our self-worth, they work hand in hand. When we activate this part of us, we can immediately create shifts and deliver on the promises we make to ourselves. Without self-confidence, ideas lay dormant, songs remain unsung and words go unsaid. In this place, our dreams can pass us by and we live in the hope that change will magically happen without us taking any action. Because of these conditions, discontentment spreads and comparison has the perfect breeding ground to thrive and rule your reality.
3. Self-focus - Head.
This determines your problem-solving abilities, your level of clarity and the plan you’re working towards, for your version of a comparison free life.
Dissolving distraction is a key element to building your self-focus muscle and a little bit of initial concentration here is well worth your investment, as it will be a key piece to gaining back the reins for you to confidently stride in the direction of your goals, by reducing the conditions in which comparison thrives.
An absence of self-focus creates space for comparison to sink its teeth in, so we’ll be exploring the best practices for you to nip it in the bud and encourage actions that will allow for laser vision focus and clear actionable steps, in all areas of your life!
We will be getting really familiar with these pillars, so if they’re new to you, don’t you worry! They’ll crop up within our monthly flow topics too, becoming reassuringly repetitive, as we bid your comparison a fond farewell!
When you have worked through core in full, it’s always possible to come back and choose the pillar for your unique situation:
You may already have an idea of which pillar you’d like to focus on the most, but in case you’re unsure, check our guide below to discern which cornerstone is best suited to you at any given moment. Our modules are designed to be revisited at any point during the membership, to give you what you need.
Self-worth | Core
“I’m not feeling good enough” “I don’t feel whole” “I feel small” “I don’t feel like I deserve it”
Self-confidence | Heart
“I feel fearful” “I don’t feel ready” “I don’t feel brave enough to do that”
Self-focus | Head
“I’m confused” “I need some clarity” “I don’t have a plan”
